Vice President

Laura R. Ansell is a Vice President of Penn Schoen Berland, New York, where she provides brand management and consultation to a variety of Fortune 500 brands across a wide range of disciplines. Her expertise includes brand strategy and positioning, the development and management of global marketing programs, market segmentation, and channel planning.

As a consultant, Laura draws upon her extensive brand marketing experience to create solutions that are realistic, actionable, and focused on profitable results. She joined PSB from the eponymous Ansell Strategy Group, the brand strategy consultancy she founded in 2008, where her work included identification of optimal marketing mix for brand portfolios, assessment of clients' new market/product opportunities, and corporate brand positioning. She has also worked as a managing consultant in the brand strategy practice at the Zyman Group.

Prior to these roles, Laura spent 17 years at AT&T Corporation where she had a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. In her last position as a Director of Corporate Brand Strategy, Laura leveraged research to develop and implemented multi-faceted marketing initiatives for one of the world's most iconic brands. Her work included crafting a global brand positioning and then bringing it to life through strategic messaging, sales activities, marketing programs, retail and strategic partnerships.

Laura began her career as a lead design engineer with Texas Instruments in Dallas, where she spent two years in the 1980s building the world's fastest large-scale integrated circuit microprocessor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.
