Chris Rethore is Vice President, Media & Entertainment Research, at Penn Schoen Berland.

Chris is a strategic consultant to PSB's motion picture, publishing, and interactive media clients. He has extensive experience conducting domestic and international positioning, messaging, advertising, and branding studies for firm's largest media and entertainment clients including Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Electronic Arts, Conde Nast Publications, and Rodale.

In 2009, Chris developed and launched Reel Pulse, PSB's syndicated box office tracking service. Reel Pulse goes beyond traditional box office forecasting, offering not just quantitative results, but also revealing the why behind the numbers, providing detailed qualitative feedback on how each film's campaign is performing.

Chris also leads the firm's Publishing division which continues to be the worldwide leader in magazine and catalog cover optimization. Over 40 publications count on Penn Schoen Berland's strategic insight to increase newsstand sales.

He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
