Strategy Development Process

Our market research methodologies are powerful on their own, but many clients retain us to help implement projects from start to finish, for engagements including political campaigns, corporate positioning or branding efforts, advertising campaigns, product launches, or corporate social responsibility initiatives.  We have a structured process for ongoing market research consultation called the Image Management System (IMS).

  1. Discovery and Ignition Session – to set expectations and objectives, and gather relevant background information to inform creation of the qualitative work.

  2. Innovative Qualitativeresearchto understand the drivers of loyalty and preference, and create a rich set of inputs for the quantitative phase.

  3. Messaging – to determine which marketing messages are the strongest building blocks for winning image, equity, and market share.

  4. Visual & Concept Combat Testing– to determine quantitatively, with qualitative nuance, which strategic approaches and which executions are the most effective.

  5. Tracking Plus– to monitor implementation and ensure that changes are made as needed to keep winning.

In addition to IMS, we have a suite of branding and research tools that help our clients achieve their goals.
